This project included a Windows 2000 design for 3000 users
based in multiple locations and included the Active Directory
design, OU design, and DNS design. As part of the project
Cardium produced a migration strategy for users, data and

SMS 1.2 to
SMS 2.0 migration.
This project migrated nine locations and 1,000 clients from
SMS 1.2 to SMS 2.0. The case study explains issues migrating
from SMS 1.2 to SMS 2.0 and how Cardium overcame these issues
using two SMS Installer scripts and the schedule service.

Integration Project
This project was to integrate 700 users from a recently acquired
business into an existing Windows NT, SMS, and Exchange Environment.
VB scripting techniques and pre - packaging of applications
delivered by SMS 2.0 ensured that the new desktop was installed
with limited engineer interaction.

Netware 3.12
to NT 4.0 Migration and SMS 2.0 Deployment
This project was to migrate an existing Netware 3.12 environment
into an existing NT 4.0 environment. 750 NT 4.0 clients were
running legacy protocols (IPX) and Netware client, and due
to the number of locally installed applications, Cardium was
tasked with migrating the client to the new environment with
as little engineer intervention as possible, however removing
all legacy protocols and the Netware client.

Technical Relocation
Project
A relocation of a large number of users. Although we did not
physically move the hardware, we performed the pre and post
technical work to ensure a smooth migration of hardware and
services from the existing location to the new location.
