available in all versions of Windows Server 2003 and Windows

IIS makes it possible for organizations of all sizes to quickly
and easily deploy powerful Web sites and applications. In
addition, IIS provides a high-performance platform for applications
built using the Microsoft .NET Framework.
Windows SharePoint Services is a collection of services for
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 that you can use to create team-oriented
Web sites to share information and foster collaboration with
other users on documents. You can also use Windows SharePoint
Services as a development platform for creating collaboration
and information-sharing applications. Cardium also offer this
solution as a "software as a service" "pay
as you use" solution through their hosted sharepoint

Cardium Solutions have implemented a SharePoint solution for
a finance company that (in real time) imports information
from a SQL database and generates the information they require
onto an Active Server Page which refreshes each minute. This
information is then displayed on various plasma screens throughout
the organisation.
