Microsoft Small Business Server 2003

Cardium Solutions have implemented Small Business Server solutions for clients throughout the UK. Microsoft Small Business Server performs the following on one low cost single server
> Storage for files on one server thus reducing the headache of backing up files on several different desktops
> Internal and external email, calendar and contact management. The email system will also provide access to the users email from any web browser anywhere in the world (with the correct security configuration and user configuration)
> Firewall integration - Microsoft ISA Server - optional to prevent external access to the company network
> Shared internet access
> Network fax capabilities
This solution requires a small low cost network (depending on the number of network points required - one for each networked PC), which can be implemented by Cardium Solutions. Additionally a broadband connection and Internet Service Provider (ISP) will be required to allow internet connectivity and emails to be delivered to the company. All of this can be off putting to the uninitiated but Cardium have years of experience of ensuring that the whole solutions fits the customers requirements. The use of a broad band connection to the internet will allow the Small Business Server solution to be supported from Cardium Solutions offices in Lancashire thus reducing the requirement of a visit to site should a software problem arise that can be fixed remotely - inevitably this will reduce the support costs of the system significantly.
